This policy explains how JB Switch Business Solutions looks after the details you give us. We keep it short and plain.

Who we are

JB Switch Business Solutions is run by Julie Bedeau. JB Switch Business Solutions is a trading name of Julie Bedeau, sole trader. We are the data controller for the details described here.

What we collect

When you use the contact form we collect your name, business name, phone number, email address, the services you are interested in and anything you write in your message. If you send us bills, statements or other documents, we hold those too. If you phone or email us, we keep a note of what we discussed.

Why we use it

We use your details to reply to your enquiry and to help you with the services you ask about. Our lawful basis is your request to us, and our legitimate interest in running the business and answering questions. We do not sell your details and we do not use them for anything unrelated to your enquiry.

Who we share it with

We only share your details with a provider or partner when it is needed to get you information or a quote for a service you have asked about, and we will tell you before we do. Our contact form is processed by Formspree, which passes your message to us. Our email and website hosting providers also handle data on our behalf. We may share details where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry, and for up to two years after our last contact so we can answer follow-up questions. After that we delete them, unless the law requires us to keep something longer.

Your rights

You can ask to see the details we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete them, ask us to restrict how we use them, or object to how we use them. Email [email protected] and we will deal with it promptly. If you are unhappy with how we handle your details you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
